Probus Club of Sydney Inc.
Membership Information

| Our Aim | To assist retired and semi-retired executives and professionals meet others with similar vocations. |
| Activities | The
Club meets monthly to provide fellowship and hear a guest speaker, at
10 am on the first Tuesday of each month except January, at the Union,
University & Schools Club , 25 Bent Street, Sydney.
Between meetings, visits are arranged to places and organisations of particular interest to Members. The Bulletin, summarising club activities, is distributed at each meeting and mailed to absent Members. This web site is intended to facilitate promotion and bookings for the Social Programme, aid new Member recruitment, and be of continuing interest and use to Members with a variety of levels of computer literacy. |
| About Us | We
live in nearly fifty postcode areas, unlike many Probus Clubs that draw
from a more concentrated region.
Most held positions of senior responsibility. More than half regularly use the Internet. For a few more years we will have a majority of grown up children of the Great Depression and War years and thus from a well-known demographic valley. But the Baby Boomers are becoming of Probus age and we are heading towards a wait-list for new admissions. |
